Welcome to the Slovak Catholic Centre of Sts Cyril & Methodius in Sydney.

We are the Community of faith, which was bestowed upon us by Sts Cyril & Methodius through our forefathers

We, the Slovaks, are the descendants of this beautiful spiritual and cultural heritage, which we continue to promote through our religious and cultural activities, while being proud of our unique identity and our commitment to God.

We consider ourselves blessed with keeping this heartfelt persistence in faith, which is ingrained into our Slovak nature and culture and by further enhancing it by the Australian church and multicultural society.

We celebrate our commitment to God in our weekly celebration of the Holy Eucharist as well as we share the joys and challenges of life in our social gatherings. The life of our Community is sustained by the commitment and dedication of all our members, whether young or old.

Every Sunday we gather to pray in our beautiful Church in Lidcombe, which is dedicated to our national patrons Sts Cyril and Methodius and then we continue our celebrations in our Community Hall. Our primary goal is to enhance our smooth interaction of faith and culture. Therefore, we commit ourselves to promoting the cultural adaptation of liturgy.

Come and join us every Sunday at 10:15 at our Lidcombe church for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and for social gatherings after the holy mass in the Community Hall.
