Our Good Friday liturgy began with the Stations of the Cross at 2.30 PM, followed the celebration of Passion of the Lord at 3.00 PM. It was a liturgy marked by a combination of simplicity and solemnity. From the silence of the opening procession to the silence of departure the liturgy of Good Friday is elemental.

After the reading of the Passion from St John’s Gospel, everybody had an opportunity to venerate the wood of the Cross and receive Christ in the Eucharist. At the conclusion of the Passion, our church fell silent in expectant hope of the celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
