July 5th is a special day for all Slovaks, Czechs and other Slavic nations. It is a day to celebrate faith, history, culture and identity. The feast day of Saints Cyril and Methodius is particularly special to the Slovak Catholic Community in Sydney as the two saints are the patron-saints of the Slovak Catholic Centre in Lidcombe.
