This Sunday, July 5^th we’ll be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation and the First Communion at our catholic church in Lidcombe. Slovak bishop Jozef Haľko, who’ll be visiting us in Sydney for this special occasion, will be leading the celebratory proceedings along with father Henry Adler, SVD.  Compounding this special occasion with the Slovak flavour will be a celebration of Sts Cyril & Methodius, the patrons of Slovakia as well as of our church in Lidcombe.

And as such an occasion deserves, there will be a culinary feast afterwards.
