Annual General Assembly has been welcomed by an impressive member attendance to cast a vote in the Executive Committee elections (9 member body with a 2 year long mandate) along with a proposal establish a new body corporate, named Slovak Catholic Community Sydney Inc. as well as the new statues of this body corporate.

All proposed motions have been passed by almost unanimous support from the present members and given the newly elected Executive Committee a formal mandate to conclude this long running process of the Community’s legal restructure and protection of our assets, as a body corporate under the provisions of the civil law as well as under the provisions of the Archdiocese of Sydney within the realms of the canon law.
