Annual General Assembly has been welcomed by an impressive member attendance to cast a vote in the Executive Committee elections (9 member body with a 2 year long mandate) along with a proposal establish a new body corporate, named Slovak Catholic Community Sydney Inc. as well as the new statues of this body corporate.

This mature 50 had sneaked upon father Henry somewhat inconspicuously, but although humbly, he’s cheerfully celebrated his beautiful milestone among his grateful congregation in Lidcombe. Well, there weren’t any fireworks on display, but two birthday cakes made his Day.

Our beloved father Viktor Števko has passed away later this afternoon after a long struggle with an uncompromising illness. Father Viktor, who has been selflessly caring for our Slovak Catholic Community in Lidcombe for many years is now on his way to Lord. May God rest his soul. Read more →
